Our Team

Ella June

Founder | Head Trainer – June’s K9 Services

Ella is a passionate and experienced dog trainer with over five years of hands-on training experience and a deep love for helping dogs and their owners build better relationships. She’s been the proud owner of June’s K9 Services for the past two years, where her mission is to create confident, well-balanced dogs through clear communication, structure, and trust.

Ella shares her life with her beloved rescue Bully, who has been both her inspiration and her greatest teacher. Their journey together fuels her commitment to helping other owners navigate the challenges and rewards of dog ownership, especially with strong, misunderstood breeds. She also has a mutt, Bud, whom she adores as well.

With a balanced training approach, Ella tailors her methods to suit each individual dog, always aiming to bring out their best in a fair, consistent, and compassionate way. Whether she's working with high-energy pups, reactive dogs, or rescue cases, Ella brings a calm, no-nonsense presence that puts both dogs and humans at ease.

Through June’s K9 Services, Ella continues to build a strong, supportive community of dog owners dedicated to better behaviour, mutual respect, and happier lives for both ends of the leash.

Abigail Swann

Social Media & Marketing Manager | Dog Walker | Rescue Advocate

With a heart for both people and animals, Abigail brings compassion, creativity, and care to everything she does. Before joining our team, Abigail spent several years working as a nurse, where she developed a deep understanding of empathy, patience, and attentive care—all qualities that now shine through in her work with dogs and their humans.

Abigail manages our social media and marketing with the same heart she brings to her time walking dogs—telling authentic stories, building connections, and celebrating every tail wag and training success. She's also an experienced dog handler who walks and supports pups of all sizes, temperaments, and needs.

At home, Abigail is the proud dog mom to a lovable Black Lab and a big-hearted American Bully XL—both of whom keep her on her toes and fuel her passion for training and enrichment. Outside of work, she volunteers as a counsellor with a local dog rescue, Bark At The Moon (BATM), helping new adopters build trust and confidence with their rescue dogs.

Whether she's behind the camera capturing training wins or out on the trail with a four-legged friend, Abigail brings a rare mix of professionalism, kindness, and real-world experience that makes her an invaluable part of our team.
